| I am a Vancouver-based painter. I started my formal studies at Simon Fraser University where I earned a Bachelor of Education. I taught English and the Humanities for over ten years, travelled extensively and lived abroad. Along the way I studied design, drawing, experiential art and painting at Sheridan College and Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
I am very grateful to have had an opportunity to work in studio and exhibited with numerous international artists during my 2 year stay in Istanbul, Turkey. Because of these experiences, 4 years ago, I launched myself head-long into my new life as visual artist.
For the past 5 years, I have served on art boards, curated exhibitions and found many opportunities to support art education through residencies, event organization, fundraising and artwork donations.
My work can be found in European, Asian and North American collections.
